The Directors of Angas Securities have a range of qualifications & experience in the areas of law and funds management.
The Board sets the company's corporate direction, monitors financial performance, oversees the implementation of internal controls and ensures that the highest standards of ethical behaviour are followed at all times.
Andrew Luckhurst-Smith
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Andrew has practiced law since 1979, principally in the area of banking and finance. He was Partner in Charge of the Adelaide office of national law firm Hunt & Hunt and a member of its national board prior to joining Angas Securities in an executive capacity.
He was a Director of ALR Corporation, a national mercantile agency of which he was one of the founders. He was responsible for business development nationally as well as managing the South Australian operations during the formative years of that company.
Andrew is a member of the Banking and Financial Services Law Association of Australia Limited. He has been National President of the Australian Anglican Schools Network, Chairman of the South Australian Anglican Schools Commission and Chairman of the State Library of South Australia's Finance Committee.
Andrew has been a Director of Angas Securities since 2000 and Executive Chairman since 2003.

Natalie Gatis
DIRECTOR
Natalie joined Angas in 2016 in the position of General Counsel, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. She was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2021.
Natalie is a highly qualified practicing solicitor and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with more than a decade of professional experience. Natalie’s breadth of expertise spans commercial litigation, corporate governance, compliance and legal risk management and mitigation, investor relations and the management of mortgage securities with clients in the financial services and banking sectors.
Natalie possesses strong commercial aptitude developed through her years in key management positions with Angas. Results-driven and investor-focused with a track record of increasing new business origination. Natalie is a member of the Credit Committee, which is responsible for approving loan investments made by Angas Prime and has oversight of the conduct and performance of those investments until they are discharged. Natalie is a member of the Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee and reports to Angas Prime’s own Compliance Committee. Natalie is also a member of Angas’ Due Diligence Committee.
Outside of her work at Angas, Natalie is applying her considerable qualifications and expertise to assist the good works of the St Vincent de Paul Society as a member of its Low-Cost Housing Advocacy Group.
Natalie’s appointment as an Executive Director was effective in 2023.

John Fairley
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
John Fairley is the newest member of the Angas Securities Board but brings with him a wealth of knowledge.
Possessing over 40 years of experience in banking and finance, John spent many years as an executive with ANZ Bank, before becoming the State Manager at Esanda in QLD and Northern NSW.
He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, and holds a number of other qualifications including a Master of Business Administration from Monash University.
In 2001, John founded CrediFlex, a national broking firm offering commercial, property and equipment finance.
John’s extensive financial services experience, knowledge and broad network of business connections will be of significant benefit to Angas Securities.
John was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in 2024.
